	Michael recently visited John Pisano's home and tried out a few of John's guitars--one of which John decided to sell to Michael. The 1947 Gibson L5 as pictured here. See a letter from John.

	During a recent trip to L.A., Michael picked up an Eastman Uptown archtop. The guitar specifications are as follows: Handcarved 17” body having a 25” scale. Solid maple back and sides and solid aged spruce top. Three-piece maple neck with a solid ebony fingerboard. Heavy duty, classically designed tuners and tailpiece, and a J.W. Eastman hardshell case all come standard. John Pisano and Barry Zweig also play Eastman guitars. The guitar was purchased at: California Vintage Guitar & Amps, 5244 Van Nuys, Sherman Oaks, CA, 91401, (818) 789-8884.
